Job Description:

Senior Network Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to manage and support complex voice, video, and data communication networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, administration, and ongoing support of critical network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system administration and maintain the operation of network security servers, including ePolicy Orchestrator/Agent Handlers.

• Ensure network compliance with all relevant Department of Defense (DoD) configuration requirements, including DISA, US Cyber Command, JFHQ DoDIN, and Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command operations orders (OPORDs), fragmentary orders (FRAGOs), and Change Tasking Orders (CTOs).

• Execute and monitor the progress of software deployments, upgrades, and installations of endpoint security modules such as Trellix Agent, ENS Threat Prevention, ENS Firewall, and DLP to host computers.

• Provide performance tuning for network systems and troubleshoot complex endpoint security components across large and intricate environments.

• Configure, test, and deploy network security policies based on Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements.

• Develop and implement queries, dashboards, and reports for network monitoring and analysis.

• Create exceptions and/or exclusions within endpoint security policies as needed.

• Provide operating system-level support for network security software configurations and updates.

• Troubleshoot product deployment issues on host systems.

• Create, test, and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies for device control and data protection.

• Brief leadership on network compliance status and related matters.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, taking initiative and embracing new challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Clearance Level: Secret

• Certifications (IAT Level II): One of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.

• Experience: 5-7 years of related experience.

• Technical Certifications: Must have a DoD-issued ESS Certification.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Virtualization: VMWare Experience.

• Operating Systems: Windows Server 2016 or higher experience, Linux experience.

• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server experience.

• Security: Experience applying DISA STIGs/Security Patches.

• Documentation: Strong writing skills for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies relevant to endpoint security systems.

• Additional Certification: Computing environment certificate, CCNA, or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
