Job Description:
IT Support & Warehouse Technician

~ 6 Month Contract to Hire

~ Onsite

~ Richmond, VA

~ Locally Candidates Only

In addition to standard desktop support duties, this position will also help to facilitate warehouse operations. This role is critical to our IT operations.

Routine tasks include the following:

• Inventory management, shipping and receiving, and storage of new and used equipment for use by all courts and magistrates

• Work with supervisor to identify, receive, and clear purchase orders as new stock arrives and apply asset tags on new equipment. Scan items using a RF scanner and place items in proper storage area.

• Image, troubleshoot, and test returned hardware (tablets, PC’s, monitors, scanners, printers) to ensure functionality.

• Work closely with the internal network group to assist in testing switches and routers

• Help to unload delivery trucks, UPS, FedEx, and DJIT field techs with large shipments or returns

• Maintain new stock and supply storage

• Assist with managing all activities of the Judicial System’s DJIT/Forms Distribution warehouse operations.

• Preforms necessary housekeeping duties in storage and shipping areas of the warehouse.


• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10, 11, Office 365 suite, HP Printers, Fujitsu scanners

• Experience as an IT support technician or equivalent (IT Support, Helpdesk Support, Tier 3 Technician) troubleshooting, installing, and configuring PCs, printers, scanners etc.

• Demonstrated strong customer service and customer support skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Ability to work in as a team on certain projects that involve more than one technician.

• Basic knowledge of networking and network troubleshooting

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

• Must have a valid driver license
