Job Description:

The Proposal Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in the proposal development process, leading the pricing strategy and ensuring compliant, competitive proposals are submitted. This position requires a strong understanding of government contracting regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead pricing strategies for proposals
• Manage subcontractor requests for quotations (RFQs)
• Coordinate internal management reviews of proposals
• Analyze data and ensure the accuracy of proposal pricing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and integrate cost data
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in the pricing process
• Review cost models and subcontractor RFQs for accuracy and compliance
• Integrate business opportunity estimates (BOEs) with overall program strategy
• Research and analyze market data to inform pricing decisions
• Collect and organize cost and pricing data from various sources
• Formulate and implement cost/technical strategies to optimize proposal competitiveness
• Prepare proposals that adhere to all RFP specifications
• Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (6+ years) or Master’s degree (4+ years) in pricing/estimating, contracts, or proposals
• Strong knowledge of government proposal development processes and regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS)
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with various contract types (e.g., fixed-price, cost-plus)
• Proficiency with pricing tools such as ProPricer
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and manipulation
• In-depth understanding of government regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS)
• Knowledge of proposal auditing techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• US citizenship required
