Job Description:

VTC Support Technician

Responsibilities:

• Provide network support, assist VTC facilitators, and support senior Flag Officer conferences.
• Perform installations for audio visual and structured cabling projects.
• Support and maintain VTC and AV equipment, including Cisco Codecs, large screen displays, and more.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot conference room AV systems.
• Test equipment for correct operation and compatibility.
• Train customers on equipment usage.
• Read and interpret construction documents, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Perform cable pulls, terminations, and testing.
• Coordinate equipment disposal and repair returns.
• Provide training for system users.
• Act as Customer Service Representative.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience supporting VTC systems (e.g., CISCO).
• 4+ years of experience in AV and VTC system integration.
• Ability to read and understand system schematics.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Active Secret clearance.
• CompTIA Sec+ certification.
• CTS and CTS-I certifications (within 120 days of reporting).
