Job Description:

The DNS/DHCP/IPAM Administrator will play a critical role in supporting National Security by ensuring the reliable and secure operation of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services. This role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DNS zones, records, and resolution policies using Infoblox
• Perform DNS zone transfers, updates, and changes as needed
• Oversee IP address allocation and management, ensuring efficient usage and accurate records
• Implement IPAM strategies for efficient IP space management
• Monitor the performance and health of DNS and DHCP services, addressing issues promptly
• Generate regular reports on DNS and IP address utilization
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards
• Assist in auditing DNS and IPAM configurations to identify and mitigate risks
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM-related issues
• Collaborate with other network and security teams to resolve complex issues
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM configurations and processes
• Train and support junior network administrators and other IT staff

Required Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance
• Minimum 10 years of experience in system administration, networking, or DNS/DHCP/IPAM management
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM concepts and technologies
• Experience with Infoblox or similar DNS/DHCP management tools
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of network security best practices
