Job Description:

Job Title: Agile Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Agile Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Government Project Manager (PM) to ensure the successful execution of agile development projects. You will be responsible for coordinating all agile activities, including Scrum meetings, and facilitating the transition of legacy applications to a modern, cloud-based architecture using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Coordination:
  • Facilitate daily Scrum meetings and other agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective).
  • Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban).
  • Maintain project documentation, including sprint plans, burn-down charts, and meeting minutes.
• Technical Coordination:
  • Collaborate with Java developers to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions.
  • Assist in the transition of legacy applications (potentially PowerBuilder) to a modern Java-based architecture.
  • Support the web-enabling of applications and their migration to the cloud.
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Assist in the gathering and documentation of user requirements and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Agile Project Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of Java development principles and practices.
• Experience with web-enabling applications and migrating them to the cloud.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with legacy application modernization projects.
• Experience with PowerBuilder or similar legacy technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
