Job Description:
Techead is looking to hire a Business Systems Analyst who has proven experience supporting HR systems.

Local Richmond, Virginia candidates only

Permanent residents only; no C/C

Hybrid: 1 week on-site / 1 week remote 

1 year contract – could extend


  • Demonstrate competency in verbal and written communications and interpersonal understanding. Possess the ability to research and understand customer issues.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the Information Technology team’s knowledge of and concern for the customer’s business needs.
  • Exhibit organization and planning skills that include the ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures, and to manage work.
  • Possess competency in analytical and logical thinking.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Have ability to create a network of relevant individuals to solve operational problems. 
  • Experience in the adaptation to and the application of rapidly changing technology to business needs. Achievement orientation.


  • 3+ years of directly related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting HR Master Data, Time, or Payroll
  • 1+ years of experience with SAP S/4 HCM and/or Success Factors
  • Ability to work independently, or as the supporting BSA, on capital projects and O&M efforts for multiple client areas.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of HR business processes in Master Data (including onboarding, position and organization management) or Time (CATS), and/or Payroll.
  • Direct experience as process owner in one of the following areas: HR Master Data (both employee and contingent workers), Time, and/or Payroll.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting HR system issues, including employee replication.
  • Experience developing process maps, gathering business requirements, with a strong emphasis on application testing.
  • Ability to provide second and third-level support for inquiries submitted to the IT Help Line; utilize Quality Center for documenting and tracking work requests.
  • Provide data analysis skills and experience troubleshooting application functions or database results. 


  • Bachelors degree.
  • A Master’s degree will count as one year of experience.
