Pay Rate: $15 – $16 : Depending on experience

Job Description:

TECHEAD is looking for an Entry Level Computer Technician to join one of our clients’ teams! The client is a single source of IT solutions for businesses and organizations of all sizes. As a local IT service provider, they are seeking candidates who are reliable and have an interest in the IT field. The Computer Lifecycle & Repair Technician is responsible for maintaining devices throughout their lifetime, repairing laptops and desktops, and delivering devices as needed. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day break-fix of Laptops and Desktops, primarily Dell, Lenovo, HP
  • Provides smooth transfer of data between devices
  • Ensures connection to appropriate peripherals and network drives
  • Delivers repaired devices
  • May be asked to travel 15-20 minutes away to our client sites to deliver repaired devices (1-2X weekly) usually
  • Replace or repairs: hard drives, motherboards, LCD screens, Cameras, speakers, and keyboards etc.
  • Accurately diagnose and repair technology devices into working condition for our customers
  • Replace or repairs: hard drives, motherboards, LCD screens, Cameras, speakers, and keyboards etc.
  • Connect peripherals to newly repaired or replaced devices.
  • Transfer data to repaired or replaced laptops and desktops.
  • Accurately record repairs and closes tickets.
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality service and adherence to TIG and
  • client policies and procedures.
  • Deliver repaired devices to our customers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • General knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service.
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and
  • evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Troubleshoot a variety of computer issues
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Ability to work as a team player in a professional environment
  • Accurately and legibly fill out repair tickets
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs with no restrictions
  • Ability to pass a background check

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate degree desired
  • Relevant experience desired
  • A+ certification a plus
  • Must be 21
  • A STRINGENT CRIMINAL AND DRIVER’S LICENSE BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
