Recently Techead has been awarded the opportunity to team up with an innovative IT solutions company that has been in business for 30 years. We are in search of a well-skilled Data Visualization Analyst/Specialist who fits the below description.

Data Visualization Analyst/Specialist

6-month contract to hire

Hybrid work model

Active secret clearance required

What you’ll be doing: 

  • As data plays a fundamental role in BI/IT projects, one of the main activities of the contractor is to identify and define the data items required by components of the solution including reports, dashboards, and more complex analytics such as ad hoc data analysis.
  • Support in this area shall include requirements definition and refinement; process reengineering; information technology assessment, engineering, implementation, sustainment, and training; data and data structure analysis and design
  • Provide the resources to evaluate emerging IT and IT-related technologies.
  • Support the benchmarking, operational capability demonstrations, and acquisition of commercial program/portfolio management tools, modeling and simulation tools, and related design, integration, database population/maintenance, and other services to further enhance the use of best practices and the transparency of program information to decision-makers.
  • Provide support plans, processes, procedures, and information on systems that enhance collaboration and data transparency requirements.
  • Promote continuous dialogue regarding the progress of the project with the customer via regular face-to-face meetings, email correspondence, and telephonically.
  • Provide quality software products and support services following commercial best practices.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 10 or more years of experience in a related field
  • Experience with Excel manipulating data and building pivot tables
  • Experience with Tableau, Power Bi, qilck senses, and Office 365

Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance required
  • Bachelor degree
