Job Description:

Full Stack Web Developer

Permanent residents only, no C2C considered. 

Techead is looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to design and architect web-based software systems using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, and Drupal. This position ensures superior performance of web applications to support websites, mobile, and OTT apps.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience developing applications in PHP, HTML5, and Javascript with experience in JS Frameworks such as React, Next, Vue, or Angular
• Demonstrated expertise in web application development for live public-facing, api/database-driven sites and applications (PHP, .Net, Drupal, WordPress)
• Experience with planning and building REST APIs for consumption by web and mobile apps
• Deep understanding of relational databases including MySQL, database design best practices, database performance best practices and debugging MySQL database performance bottlenecks
• Experience with data caching strategies using Memcache / Redis
• Prior DevOps and server architecture setup including experience setting up and maintaining servers on the AWS platform (EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, etc) preferred
• Forward-thinker with desire to research, learn and implement new technologies
• Understanding of internationalization and localization requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for the development, and testing of internet applications
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Interest in working in a faith-based, mission-driven organization
