Job Description:
Techead is in search of a niche opportunity with one of their long-lasting clients who is a digital innovator. We are currently hiring for a GCCS System Admin and if you would like to know more, feel free to read the below.
(GCCS-J) System Administrator
Job – 19283
Onsite in Suffolk, VA
Active secret clearance required
Up-to-date IAT Level II certification
Job Duties:
-The GCCS System Admin will work with and report directly to the Systems Engineering Site Lead, and manage the GCCS group consisting of 3-4 personnel.
-Provide systems operations and maintenance support for the GCCS endpoints and manage the related Information Systems required for Joint and Coalition operations.
-Maintain the systems utilized to provide the Global Common Operational Picture (G-COP) of all instances to support training events.
-Develop and update process guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirement qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining Linux Servers and its associated services.
- Proficient knowledge in the administration of GCCS Joint (GCCS-J)
- Knowledge of STIG requirements and compliance
- Knowledge and experience with server and storage virtualization, Microsoft Hypervisor and VMWare vSphere.
Preferred qualifications:
- 6-12 years of practical experience with Information Technology
- Admin experience over operator experience
- Hands-on experience working with GCCS-J Version 5 or 6.
Certifications and clearances:
Security + CE or other IAT Level II certification
Active secret clearance
