Techead is seeking a highly experienced Human Resource & Administration Director for a Salt Lake City, UTAH client.

 Top Skills Required:

  • Ten or more years of experience in Human Resources with at least five years in management 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Experience with mergers/acquisitions, transitions, and/or start-ups preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy for the organization that aligns talent and employment practices with the achievement of results that advance companies business strategies and goals.
  • Structure a talent strategy to enable, attract, engage and retain high performing talent that sustains business operations and supports future growth.
  • Direct all HR functions to include, talent acquisition, employee relations, HR business partnership, total rewards, and talent management.
  • responsible for leadership and oversight of the organization s Communications and Administrative Services functions.
  • Serve as a trusted thought leader in defining, aligning and delivering a long-term vision and strategy for enterprise talent programs,
  • Recommend and oversee the implementation of future-focused HR processes, policies, and practices
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, and builds strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Develop and presents recommendations for talent programs and workforce-related initiatives
  • Establish clear expectations for risk mitigation and issue escalation related to all employment practices
  • Receive escalations, coach direct reports, makes decisions, strategizes/takes action to reach resolution, and escalates further as necessary
  • Design and implement HR programs, structures, processes, and technology
  • Accountable for successful completion of approved initiatives, on time and within budget
  • Monitor external trends and best practices in Human Resource/Talent Management to promote an outside-in view of the talent landscape
  • Build data-driven business cases and ROI assessments to introduce and execute scalable programs and solutions that achieve business objectives
  • Adopt a growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Perform consistent reviews and evaluates the return on investment (ROI), return on expectations (ROE), and effectiveness of HR programs in the area of responsibility
  • Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, policies, and programs relevant to employee relations and employment practices, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and Company policies
  • Create and/or amends Human Resources policies and processes as business or legislative changes require
  • Successfully manage a broad portfolio of vendor partners to deliver HR value to the business Oversee forecasts, budgets, resources, and initiative performance in areas of responsibility
  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports to ensure executional excellence and strong compliance
  • Direct enterprise internal communications, including all leadership messages, HR-initiated projects and processes, and organizational announcements
  • Direct Communications team members to develop an external communications strategy in partnership with Legal & Regulatory
  • Oversee the execution of external communications in alignment with strategy, regulations, and organizational needs
  • Supervise administrative functions, including Records Management Knowledge, Skills, Abilities,

Education Level: (Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of)

  • Master’s Degree Required  (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree)
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business or Human Resources Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline

Preferred:

  • SHRM Sr. Certified Professional (SHRM-SC)
  • Senior Pro. in Human Resources (SPHR)
  • Six Sigma Certification
