Job Description:
IT Administrative Coordinator
~ Contract: 6 months; likely to extend
~ Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
~ Location: Richmond, VA
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the onboarding and offboarding of consultants.
- Maintain specific software licensing of new and departing resources.
- Troubleshoot remote resource connectivity issues, before escalating to the Help Desk.
- Generate, prepare, and submit IT related resource, invoice, fiscal, and other reports.
- Contractor billable hours reconciliation within Project Management Office tools.
- Generate grant project times sheets.
- Work with the Administrative Department to verify and process vendor invoices. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of administrative IT support experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills working with technical and nontechnical personnel at various levels within the organization.
- Must demonstrate strong technical aptitude necessary to cope with rapidly changing technology.
- Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience working with computers for communication, documentation, and record- keeping.
- Administrative experience with a working knowledge of principles, procedures, and practices related to purchasing, administrative support, preferably in an IT setting.
- Good analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Information Technology tools and concepts.
- Must have excellent organization skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, as well as excellent professional office etiquette.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under supervision.
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of any programming language (such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experiencing using Microsoft SharePoint.
