Job Description:
Are you a highly motivated and talented Training and Development Specialist ready to join a team with a long-standing reputation for providing best-in-class service and support? We are seeking a Journeyman TDS to design and execute impactful training and development programs that enhance individual and organizational performance.
In this role, you will:
- Research and analyze new or updated technical documentation and information related to advancements in military weapons systems and support systems technology.
- Design, develop, and prepare structured training materials, engaging presentations, and comprehensive courses of study focused on the operation or maintenance of military weapon systems and support systems.
- Implement and integrate developed training courses and materials effectively within program use.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Learning, Human Factors, Training, Training Technology, Business Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in:
- Establishing training needs.
- Developing clear goals and objectives.
- Creating comprehensive training programs.
- Applying the Instructional System Development (ISD) process.
- Within the eight years of experience, at least three (3) years must involve specifically applying the ISD process to the development of self-paced Computer-Based Training (CBTs).
- At least two (2) years of experience developing Interactive Courseware (ICW) for use within Department of Navy environments OR developing training for adult learners that integrates game-based elements and assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to travel as required.
