Project Manager
Are you a highly motivated and talented Project Manager seeking to join a team with a long history of providing best-in-class service and support? We are looking for a Project Manager to serve as a key lead, managing and administering critical contracted efforts.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a primary lead, manager, and administrator for contracted efforts.
- Oversee and ensure efficient contractor execution of all project and contract requirements.
- Strategically manage the acquisition and employment of program resources to achieve objectives.
Required Certifications, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering, or a related Technical Discipline.
- One of the following Project Management certifications is required:
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Agile Software Development/Management certification.
- Accredited college agile project management certification.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, which must include:
- At least three (3) years of experience within the last six (6) years in support of Navy Acquisition management.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of proven supervisory experience.
- At least eight (8) years of experience in the planning, organizing, directing, and executing multiple projects related to Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM), Planned Maintenance System (PMS), or computer-based training development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures, including familiarity and experience with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series.
- Proven ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision across all areas of contracted efforts, such as program management, systems engineering, and financial management, especially when working with large and diverse teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current DoD Secret security clearance.
- Ability to travel as required, supporting projects both locally and beyond Norfolk.
