SAP Supply Chain Specialist | 21578
Remote

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

We are seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Specialist to join our team on a remote, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in materials management, purchase order creation, and invoice reconciliation within SAP. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of MRP, strong analytical capabilities, and a solid grasp of logistics processes including shipping and receiving.
You will be responsible for managing multiple direct material classes, creating and tracking domestic and international purchase orders, and troubleshooting invoicing discrepancies in SAP. A strong background in production planning, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute and analyze MRP functionality to plan and secure materials critical to production operations.

Create and manage high-volume purchase orders for both domestic and export customers within SAP.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reconciliation of shipping and receiving transactions.

Collaborate with production planning, finance, and logistics teams to support end-to-end material flow and order fulfillment.

Monitor and optimize inventory levels using tools such as Excel (pivot tables) and Power BI.

Independently conduct strategic supplier analyses and develop production planning/scheduling scenarios.

Navigate SAP modules effectively to identify and resolve inventory and logistics issues.

Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on delivery schedules and order requirements.
Mandatory Qualifications:

Extensive hands-on experience with SAP in a supply chain or materials management role.

Proven expertise in MRP execution, PO management, and invoice reconciliation within SAP.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Deep understanding of logistics, shipping/receiving processes, and inventory control.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with PMUSA systems and logistics operations.

Familiarity with production planning and scenario modeling for contingency and strategic supply chain decisions.
