Job Description:
Configuration Management (CM) Specialist (Full Scope Poly Required)
Configuration Management (CM) Specialist requiring an active Full Scope Polygraph clearance and 100% on-site work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
This role is responsible for establishing and enforcing CM discipline across the entire system lifecycle—from development through operation—to ensure system integrity, using both procedural and automated toolsets.
Key Responsibilities

CM Lifecycle Implementation: Implement and maintain Configuration Management discipline for the entire lifecycle of developmental and operational systems, from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.

Baseline Management: Work on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) for hardware and software.

Policy and Procedure Development: Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the systems. Assist in defining and implementing specific hardware and software CM processes, such as creating product build scripts.

Tools and Automation: Utilize or recommend automated CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items, and to implement CM policies effectively.

Change Control and Audit: Perform essential CM functions including change control activities and regular configuration audits.

Version Control: Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures on all development projects.

Environment Management: Manage, maintain, and develop the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.

| Experience | Eight (8) years experience as a CM Specialist in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. |
| Developmental Programs | If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience using a source code control system is required. |
Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university.
