Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level HR Operations Consultant who is eager to gain hands-on experience in HR administration and supporting employees within the United States and Canada. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate employee records, and timely HR reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Hire Onboarding Support:
- Assist global recruiters to prepare offer letters, launch, monitor, and review background checks, collect and manage I-9 and Canadian employment eligibility documentation, update local onboarding trackers, and other compliance requirements.
- Support new employee onboarding tasks, such as IT setup coordination and Day 1 orientation communication
- Support country specialist in setup and maintenance of local onboarding portal
- Support country specialist in setup and coordination of local summer internship program initiatives including partnership and engagement in YRichmond experiences.
- Operational Support:
- Assist internal stakeholders with employee job change requests and documentation.
- Update and maintain employee data accuracy in HRIS systems SuccessFactors and/or UKG
- Provide general data entry support across local HR functions.
- Support local event coordination in partnership with ERGs, Benefits or other internal teams
- Prepare and analyze regular reports on employee benefits, reward nominations (Bravo), and other workforce data to support HR decision-making, ensuring compliance and enhance employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0-2+ years’ experience in foundational HR roles or internships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office tools.
- General knowledge of HR operations, systems, and compliance.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrixed environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new digital tools and platforms efficiently
