Position Overview
The Senior Enterprise Architect is a high-level strategic leader responsible for bridging the gap between clinical business objectives and technological execution. This role involves designing comprehensive roadmaps and architectural frameworks that ensure the organization’s IT ecosystem is scalable, secure, and fully aligned with long-term healthcare delivery goals. You will act as a primary liaison between senior executive leadership and technical teams to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities

Strategic Architecture: Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns IT investment with organizational health system goals.

Roadmap Development: Architect long-term technology lifecycles to guide the integration of emerging systems and legacy infrastructure.

Stakeholder Synergy: Partner with executive leadership and clinical stakeholders to ensure technology supports patient care and operational efficiency.

System Oversight: Lead the design of complex, large-scale systems architecture, prioritizing high availability, reliability, and data security.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet rigorous industry regulations, healthcare standards, and internal best practices.

Inclusive Leadership: Mentor multidisciplinary IT teams and champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the enterprise.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT architecture, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.

Frameworks: Mastery of enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.

Financial Acumen: Proven experience in budgeting, financial feasibility studies, and ROI analysis for large-scale deployments.

Technical Breadth: Extensive knowledge of networking, distributed computing, cloud computing, IoT, and mobile ecosystems.

Security & BPM: Deep understanding of Information Security best practices and Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies.

Project Leadership: Strong command of project management principles and the ability to lead cross-functional technical teams.

Communication: Proficiency in authoring and presenting complex technical documentation to non-technical executive audiences.
Education & Certification

Required Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Required Certifications (One of the following):

TOGAF Certified

Zachman Certified
-

Preferred Certifications: * AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Google Professional Cloud Architect.

Cisco Certified (CCDE/CCIE).

ITIL 4 Master.
