Job Description:
The Mission At the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), we serve those who serve. From Fort Gregg-Adams to installations worldwide, we provide a vital resource to military members, retirees, and their families. We are looking for a creative, technical powerhouse to transform our digital presence into a modern, world-class shopping and information hub.
The Role: Digital Web Developer
As a key player in our Marketing and Public Affairs strategy, you won’t just maintain a site—you’ll be reimagining the user journey. You will bridge the gap between complex government requirements and a seamless, personalized customer experience.
Key Objectives:

Modernize the UX: Lead the redesign of our homepage and “OneNet” site, implementing mobile optimization and intuitive navigation.

Personalize & Engage: Use geographic data to tailor content for global users and launch a dynamic “Newsroom” mini-site.

Optimize Discovery: Overhaul search capabilities and enrich “DeCApedia” content to ensure patrons find exactly what they need.

Innovate Connectivity: Integrate CRM data and migrate legacy functions into a sleek, high-performing Drupal-based ecosystem.
What You Bring

The Credentials: You hold an IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA-Security, or equivalent).

The Tech Stack: Deep familiarity with Drupal (or similar CMS) and a passion for mobile-first design.

The Mindset: You are an analytical problem solver who can translate “technical speak” into clear updates for stakeholders.

The Versatility: You can interpret a Statement of Work (SOW) just as easily as you can code a homepage carousel.
