This position is Fully Remote / Work From Home.
Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and driven Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our next-generation data architecture. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data ecosystem, transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable pipelines, ensure pristine data quality, and leverage cloud-native technologies to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable, end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and related technologies.

Data Transformation: Develop efficient data processing and transformation workflows to support complex analytics and reporting needs.

System Integration: Integrate diverse data sources—including APIs, databases, and cloud storage—into unified, accessible datasets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with data science, analytics, and business units to design and implement data solutions aligned with strategic goals.

Data Quality & Observability: Implement robust validation, monitoring, and observability processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

Governance & Automation: Champion and contribute to data governance, security compliance, and automation initiatives across the data ecosystem.

Cloud Architecture: Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift) to build and deploy solutions in a cloud-native environment.
Qualifications & Skills

Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.

Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with modern platforms like Databricks, Palantir, or Snowflake.

Cloud ETL Services: Experience managing ETL workflows via AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataflow, or Azure Data Factory.

Data Warehousing: Familiarity with cloud data warehousing technologies such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
