Job Description:
.Net Developer (Cloud – AWS or Azure)
Remote
6 Month Contract-to-hire
Public Trust or DoD Secret Clearance
Requirements:
– Bachelors degree in a relevant field
– Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with .NET & AWS
– Proficient in programming with common frameworks using Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, and/or Team Foundation Server
– Experience with complex applications featuring multiple integration points and distributed architecture
– Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
– Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team
– Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn business processes
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement technical solutions in Microsoft environments leveraging Azure and .NET technologies
– Maintain existing on-premise applications and facilitate their transition to cloud solutions
– Develop solutions for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring, utilizing containerization technologies
– Engage in analysis and design discussions for software solutions with team members
– Participate in architecture and code review sessions to enhance the quality of deliverables
– Share expertise and knowledge openly with team colleagues to foster a collaborative environment
– Assist clients with the maintenance of traditional .NET on-premise systems and transitioning to modern frameworks
