Schedule: Morning Shift, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM CST (subject to project demands)

Compensation: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
Position Overview
Techead is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator is needed to support the delivery of strategic technology initiatives across regional operations for our manufacturing client in Nashville. This onsite position collaborates with project managers, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and technical teams to coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, track action items, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule. Strong organizational skills, experience supporting multiple concurrent projects, clear communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are required. Experience in manufacturing, operational, or regulated environments is strongly preferred.
Core Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Administration

Support multiple technology projects from initial kickoff through final deployment.

Maintain project schedules, key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

Coordinate project meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder reviews.

Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, detailed minutes, and action item registers.

Monitor overall project progress and follow up on overdue deliverables.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, governance materials, and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).

Assist in drafting executive presentations and leadership updates.

Ensure all project artifacts are complete, structured, and audit-ready.

Assist with project budget tracking, financial monitoring, and invoice reconciliation.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

Facilitate alignment across business units, IT, engineering, operations, and third-party vendors.

Schedule multi-disciplinary stakeholder meetings and streamline inter-team communication.

Track action items and proactively escalate risks, blockers, or timeline slippages.

Support external vendor onboarding, physical/system site access, and project logistics.
Deployment Support & Travel

Coordinate deployment readiness assessments and operational cutover plans.

Assist with end-user training coordination and post-go-live hypercare support.

Travel to regional operational facilities (Hopkinsville, KY) to support hands-on workshops, system testing, go-live deployments, and production startup activities.
Key Qualifications & Preferences
-
Experience: Background supporting IT, manufacturing, supply chain, industrial operations, or technology integration projects preferred.

Methodologies: Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project management frameworks.

Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or related credentials are a plus.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational capabilities, and the ability to work independently while managing cross-functional inputs.

Communication: Comfortable engaging with frontline operational staff, external vendors, and executive leadership alike.
