Seeking an experienced Director of Technical Operations to lead the support, operations, and strategic management of conference and audiovisual services across global office locations. This role is a ON-SITE POSITION and responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of conference technology solutions, managing AV infrastructure, supporting video conferencing platforms, and leading a team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and support activities for the Project Management, Engineering and Installation teams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain conference technology policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee conference room technology, audiovisual systems, video conferencing platforms, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of meetings, events, and conference services.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of technology-related concerns.
- Manage conference technology inventory, maintenance schedules, and equipment lifecycle planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a customer-focused service environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related AV or unified communications experience from a multi-location environment.
- At least 3 years of people management or supervisory experience of a team of 3+
- Strong expertise with video conferencing and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Poly, and Crestron.
- Knowledge of AV systems, VoIP technologies, IP networking, and unified communications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
