Job Description:
HR and Onboarding Specialist (Entry-Level)

Contract: 10 Months
Onsite
Local Candidates Only
Richmond, VA

**Seeking a very recent, new grad who is passionate and excited to learn.
Key skills needed: being able to prioritize, time management skills, and attention to detail.**

Responsibilities:
• New Hire Onboarding Support:

o Assist global recruiters to prepare offer letters, launch, monitor, and review background checks, collect and manage I-9 and Canadian employment eligibility documentation, update local onboarding trackers, and other compliance requirements.

o Support new employee onboarding tasks, such as IT setup coordination and Day 1 orientation communication

o Support country specialist in setup and maintenance of local onboarding portal

o Support country specialist in setup and coordination of local summer internship program initiatives including partnership and engagement in YRichmond experiences.

• Operational Support:

o Assist internal stakeholders with employee job change requests and documentation.

o Update and maintain employee data accuracy in HRIS systems SuccessFactors and/or UKG

o Provide general data entry support across local HR functions.

o Support local event coordination in partnership with ERGs, Benefits or other internal teams

o Prepare and analyze regular reports on employee benefits, reward nominations (Bravo), and other workforce data to support HR decision-making, ensuring compliance and enhance employee experience.

Qualifications:
• 0-2+ years’ experience in foundational HR roles or internships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office tools.
• General knowledge of HR operations, systems, and compliance.
• Experience working in a multinational or matrixed environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new digital tools and platforms efficiently

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
