Job Summary:
TECHEAD is hiring an HRIS & Payroll Systems Manager to support our client’s HRIS, Payroll teams and other leaders through research and analysis. This individual will be accountable for data integrity and reporting of the payroll and global HR system. They will provide a high level of accuracy in managing data to ensure that results are precise and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee data quality and integrity within HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accurate and reliable information for reporting and analysis
- Lead and support HRIS and payroll system updates, configuration changes, testing, and technology enhancements
- Interpret complex data and convert it into clear, actionable insights while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Understand business needs and identify the data required to support effective decision‑making
- Oversee the end‑to‑end payroll process to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll for all employee
- Review and approve payroll calculations, adjustments, and changes in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain payroll records and audit data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead year‑end payroll activities, including W‑2 processing, reporting, and audit support
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and department leaders to resolve payroll discrepancies, respond to inquiries, and support cross‑functional needs
- Supervise, train, and support staff; provide guidance on complex issues and ensure consistent application of payroll and HRIS procedures
- Identify opportunities to streamline HRIS and payroll operations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service
- Provide support in other areas of HR as needed (e.g. special projects and vacation cover)
Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
Advanced Excel skills required
Knowledge of UKG System preferred - Experience in IBM Cognos report writing preferred or comparable reporting software required
- Knowledge of SQR reporting or SQL preferred
