Job Description:
The K12 Account Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth by leading teams to sell products or services to school districts, charter schools, public schools or private schools. They focus on acquiring new accounts, retaining existing clients, managing sales pipelines, and developing strategic partnerships to meet ambitious quarterly and annual sales targets in K12 Education. Responsibilities:
- Achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets in K12 Education
- Develop and execute regional or national sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities and managing the sales pipeline.
- Build relationships with school district administrators, superintendents, directors, technology leaders, principals, and other decision makers.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Oversee CRM (e.g., Salesforce) data, conducting regular pipeline reviews and accurate forecasting.
- Product Expertise: Act as a trusted advisor to educators, conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and finance teams to refine marketing tactics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in the K-12 education market
- Deep understanding of K-12 procurement, purchasing cycles, and educational technology trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
