Job Description:

Systems Engineer (Annapolis Junction, MD)

We are seeking cleared and experienced Systems Engineers to apply rigorous systems engineering principles across the entire system lifecycle—from Concept through Retirement. This role demands in-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 process areas and requires technical leadership and strong communication skills to manage complex projects in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities (Varying by Level)

• Systems Lifecycle Management: Apply and execute systems engineering principles across all system lifecycle phases (Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement).

• Technical Integrity & Deliverables: Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with the ISO/IEC 15288 process areas (Technical, Project, Enterprise, and Agreement).

• Analysis and Recommendation: Independently or collaboratively perform analysis of technical alternatives for projects, offering preliminary to final recommendations on design, methodology, and engineering standards.

• Stakeholder Interaction: Serve as a technical point of contact, interacting with Government personnel and senior executives regarding technical considerations, problems, and project status.

• Work Product Development: Develop and deliver work products across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas, potentially leading engineering activities and approving deliverables.

• Leadership (Senior Levels): Supervise, coordinate, and lead the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project, making independent decisions regarding engineering issues.

Mandatory Requirements

• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) with a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).

• Location: 100% On-Site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Systems Engineering) or a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Math, Physics).
