Job Description:

Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, 100% on site 

Clearance: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph (Mandatory)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to lead and execute comprehensive testing programs. You will analyze system requirements and acquisition plans to develop, prepare, and conduct evaluation and test plans/procedures. This role involves supporting the development of critical Government T&E documentation (e.g., T&E Strategy, TEMP) and ensuring T&E activities are integrated and aligned with program objectives and decision-maker needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead T&E tasks and serve as the primary liaison with the Government sponsor.

  • Analyze performance risk, assess requirements for testability, and frame T&E objectives.

  • Plan and execute performance data collection and analysis, including designing data sampling schemes and using statistical analysis.

  • Specify, validate, and adapt Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for T&E use.

  • Produce T&E products, including Evaluation Plans, Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, and Reports.

  • Define and provide technical direction and guidance to Level 0 and Level 1 Test Engineers.

  • Manage T&E resources, ensure quality assurance, and drive innovation to manage program risk.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer (TE) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
