Job Description:

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you are the engine of our supply chain. You will ensure the seamless flow of goods from receiving to final delivery, maintaining high standards for inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency with inventory systems and hands-on material handling to meet our daily operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Order Fulfillment

• End-to-End Shipping: Execute the full fulfillment cycle, including picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and loading customer orders for on-time delivery.

• Strategic Receiving: Oversee the intake of new stock by inspecting for quality, unloading shipments, and ensuring materials are stored in their optimal locations.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and perform basic preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move heavy materials efficiently.

Inventory Control & Quality Assurance

• Data Integrity: Maintain real-time accuracy in inventory databases and tracking systems. Identify and resolve any product or documentation discrepancies immediately.

• Audit Readiness: Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits to meet strict company quality standards.

• Documentation: Meticulously maintain daily logs and operational reports to ensure a transparent paper trail for all warehouse activities.

Warehouse Stewardship & Safety

• Space Optimization: Organize the warehouse layout to maximize storage capacity and workflow efficiency.

• Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to OSHA standards and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident work environment.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with supervisors and other departments to streamline communication and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills & Physicality

• Certification: Active Forklift Certification is required.

• Systems: Proficient in Inventory Management Systems (WMS), databases, and digital tracking tools.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to consistently lift and move 50+ lbs and remain active throughout the shift.

Knowledge & Experience

• Warehouse Best Practices: Deep understanding of modern logistics, safety methods, and “First-In, First-Out” (FIFO) principles.

• Soft Skills: Strong time management and the organizational skills needed to handle multiple priority orders simultaneously.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Option A: Associate degree plus 1 year of related logistics experience.

• Option B: 3 years of progressive warehouse experience in lieu of a degree.
