Job Description:

Linux & Windows SysAdmin (Onsite – Point Loma, San Diego)

We’re hiring a System Administrator for our Point Loma (Bayside), San Diego location to support a US Government customer’s RDT&E network for the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) project. You’ll manage Linux (RHEL 6/7/8) and Windows 10/11 systems in a physical and virtual environment. This role is 100% onsite.

Key Duties: Linux and Windows system administration, Active Directory, DISA STIG hardening, ACAS, NAS backups, basic networking, and STIG documentation.

Security: Secret clearance required.
Certifications: IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP) and a Linux certification (Linux+, LPIC-2/3, RHCE/RHCSA/RHCDS) are necessary.

Experience: Must have 2-3 years with Linux systems (including VMs) and 1-2 years with Windows 10/11.

Bonus: Familiarity with AEGIS, ITIL, and the IAVM process is a plus.
