Are you a seasoned Project Manager passionate about leading dynamic teams and delivering exceptional results? We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team and drive high-visibility projects that significantly impact our organization and members.

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you’ll be instrumental in leading, planning, organizing, and motivating Agile or Hybrid project teams. You’ll leverage your expertise in project management methodologies to ensure successful outcomes, align with stakeholder needs, and uphold our commitment to quality.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can expertly manage several concurrent, complex projects across various business functions. You’ll ensure our members receive unwavering, exceptional service that reflects our values and dedication.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage large-scale, enterprise-level projects from initiation to completion.

  • Drive Agile and Hybrid project teams by skillfully planning, managing, and executing project objectives, with a strong emphasis on Agile principles and frameworks like Scrum.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, product backlogs, and schedules using Agile tools and techniques, ensuring adaptability to evolving requirements.

  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, utilizing Agile ceremonies and metrics to track progress and make necessary adjustments.

  • Apply advanced project management methodologies and reporting technologies to provide clear visibility into project status and performance.

  • Foster team growth by assisting in project team development, holding members accountable, and mentoring them to embrace an empirical approach to complex work.

  • Optimize project capacity by strategically leveraging organizational resources.

  • Proactively identify and resolve conflicts, roadblocks, impediments, and contention within project teams, cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • Mitigate project risks to successfully achieve project objectives.

  • Ensure effective and timely communication with project teams and stakeholders regarding status, milestones, successes, and risks, utilizing Agile communication channels.

  • Review and approve project testing strategies, approaches, and plans, integrating Agile testing principles and automation.

  • Manage the enterprise change control process.

  • Represent our organization at community events, conferences, and team outings as a proud Chartway representative.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.

This role requires all team members to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to ensure seamless alignment with team operations and stakeholders.


What You’ll Bring:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and empower project teams to deliver high-quality results.

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) that can engage and motivate Agile or Hybrid teams and stakeholders.

  • Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a Hybrid environment.

  • In-depth understanding of Project Management principles and best practices.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.

  • Adept at leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.

  • Strategic thinker who can draw logical conclusions and exercise decisive judgment.

  • Quick and accurate learner with a proactive and independent work ethic.

  • Excellent analytical, personal, and business acumen.

  • High level of interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence.

  • Innate desire to mentor, coach, collaborate, and work effectively with teams.

  • Ability to manage up and professionally hold senior-level team members accountable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Office 365.

  • Experience with Agile Project Management tools such as Jira.

  • Flexibility and willingness to accommodate project implementation needs, including after-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary.

  • Strong ability to influence without authority.

Education, Experience, & Certification:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 5 to 7 years managing large-scale Financial projects and Agile projects.

  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent preferred.
