Job Description:

Direct Hire

Hybrid,  | Green Bay, WI

3 Days/Week Onsite

Techead has partnered with an industrial products client to help them hire a Data Engineer for a full-time position near Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Summary:

The Data Engineer has strong SQL skills and experience in building business intelligence tools and will be responsible for the following:

• Data Pipeline and ETL Development:

o Design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory or similar tools for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.

• Data Modeling and Architecture:

o Create and optimize data models and architecture within Azure Data Lake, ensuring efficient data organization and storage for analytical purposes.

• Data Integration and Processing:

o Integrate data from various sources into Azure Data Lake, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
o Implement data processing and transformation using Azure Databricks or similar tools to prepare data for analytical use.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, Azure Data Lake usage, and Power BI reports for efficiency, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Security and Compliance:
o Implement data security measures, access controls, and compliance standards within Azure Data Lake and Power BI to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
o Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data processes, models, and infrastructure.
• Preferred Applications Experience:
o Microsoft D365 Dynamics, Infor SX.e.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience actively developing data frameworks from inception to production.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools.

• Demonstrated ability to take complex requirements and create clear, efficient, and effective data solutions.

• Solid understanding of database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with cloud computing services and big data technologies is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively gathering requirements and presenting data insights.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Ambition to grow into a leadership role, with a focus on team development and strategic planning.
