Job Description:

Data Integration and Business Intelligence Developer
Remote, U.S.

Position Summary

A 501(c)(3) non-profit faith-based organization is seeking an experienced Data Integration and Business Intelligence Developer to join its Information Technology team. This remote, U.S.-based role will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level data integration and business intelligence solutions using digital analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data integration and business intelligence solutions.

• Develop and manage ETL processes and data warehousing using Microsoft SQL Server and related tools.

• Analyze and gather business requirements to inform system design and data modeling.

• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Ensure integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across platforms.

• Create and maintain technical architecture documentation and user support materials.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.

• Manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

• Work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and Integration Services (SSIS).

• Deep understanding of relational and dimensional database structures and principles.

• Proven expertise in data warehouse architecture, ETL development, and business analysis.

• Ability to research and resolve database-related issues and stay current with industry trends.

• Excellent documentation and architecture skills.

• Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.

• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, and Excel PowerPivot.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and AWS.

• Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio.

• Technical understanding of operating systems (e.g., Windows Server) and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).

• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
