Job Description:
IT SOX Compliance Specialist | 21483

Contract: 6 + Months
Remote

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Big 4 IT SOX experience (PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG)
  • Strong knowledge of SOX IT General Controls and SOX SDLC controls and requirements.
  • Highly experienced IT SOX Compliance Specialist with Big 4 background to execute internal IT SOX compliance activities as they relate to system implementations and business process changes.
  • Evaluate our current IT SOX control environment and identify controls that need to be updated or implemented based on the current system implantation
  • Assist with the design and implementation of those controls, as well as review SOX project documentation for SOX compliance and work with the project teams to augment or update the documentation.
  • Evaluate a new business process and identify in-scope SOX systems, then scope and design IT controls accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills and be capable of engaging with external auditors and internal project teams with limited oversight.

  • Ability to identify what SOX IT general controls should be implemented or modified as a result of a system implementation or business process change
  • Ability to design the control and work with the control owners to effectively implement the control
  • Ability to review SOX project documentation, identify gaps from a SOX perspective and work with the project teams to augment or update the documentation
