Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to manage and optimize our classified and unclassified networks. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader, capable of managing a team and ensuring the reliability and security of our diverse network infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Lead a team of network professionals to operate and maintain our SECRET, NATO, Coalition, and UNCLASSIFIED networks.

Design, plan, and implement network upgrades and enhancements to meet both short- and long-term requirements.

Provide expert-level support for complex network issues, including video, voice, and data systems.

Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls using Cisco IOS.

Troubleshoot and resolve network problems, analyze performance, and recommend improvements.

Use and maintain enterprise-level tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco ISE to manage network services, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control.
Requirements
-
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 8+ years, or 10+ years of direct experience in network administration.

Certifications:
-
CCNP certification required within 12 months of hire.

CompTIA Security+ is required.

Technical Expertise:
-
In-depth knowledge of DISA STIG and CND compliance.

Advanced experience with Cisco IOS, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), and security tools (IPS/IDS, TACACS+, ACS, ISE).

Clearance: Must have an active Secret clearance.

Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively support and present technical solutions to diverse audiences.
