Job Description:

Cribl Engineer

We’re looking for a Cribl Engineer to join our SOC Engineering team in Herndon, VA. This role requires an active Secret clearance.

You’ll be a key player in managing our log data, using Cribl Stream to normalize data from various systems before it’s sent to Splunk.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Cribl Administration: You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our Cribl Stream platform, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Pipeline Development: You’ll develop and optimize Cribl pipelines to filter, enrich, and route log data, supporting both our security and business needs.

• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: You’ll monitor Cribl’s health, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades and enhancements.

• Collaboration: You will work closely with Splunk administrators to ensure that Cribl configurations align with our overall analytics and SIEM goals.

• System Administration: You should have experience with both RHEL and Windows administration, as well as installing and configuring Splunk in both on-prem and cloud environments.
