Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. This role focuses on executing comprehensive surveying tasks for civil development projects, spanning initial property research through to final deliverable production. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical capabilities, excellent organizational habits, and a proven track record in end-to-end survey workflows.

Core Responsibilities

• Data Processing & Analysis: Evaluate and process field data related to topographic, control, and location surveys.

• Plat & Document Creation: Draft and prepare precise subdivision layouts, boundary maps, easement plats, and formal legal descriptions.

• Geographic Research: Conduct thorough historical property research and public records searches to support boundary determinations.

• Survey Calculations: Perform complex geometric and survey computations to ensure data accuracy and project integrity.

• Project Delivery: Manage workflows from initial field-data ingestion to final client-ready deliverables, ensuring high quality throughout the lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Professional Experience: 3 or more years of advancing experience specializing in control, boundary, and topographic surveys within civil engineering or land development contexts.

• Technical Software Proficiency: * MicroStation: Mastery and hands-on operational experience is strictly required.

• Workflow Expertise: Demonstrated experience executing “field-to-finish” survey methodologies and producing comprehensive technical deliverables.

• Professional Attributes: Superior communication skills coupled with strong organizational habits to effectively manage documentation and team collaboration.
