Job Description:

This role focuses on implementing, operating, and managing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite across network infrastructure. Operating within established cybersecurity frameworks (including RMF and NIST guidelines), the position collaborates cross-functionally with IT and engineering teams to analyze scan data, prioritize remediations, maintain security documentation, and prepare the organization for audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Management & ACAS Administration: Implement and manage the ACAS suite to conduct routine vulnerability scans across network infrastructure. Develop and maintain scanning policies to ensure full asset coverage.
• Risk Analysis & Remediation: Analyze scan findings, prioritize vulnerabilities based on threat impact, and partner with IT and development teams to drive timely remediation.
• RMF & Compliance Documentation: Prepare, review, and update Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, System Security Plans (SSPs), and manage Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
• Audit Preparation & Framework Adherence: Ensure system compliance with applicable NIST and DoD cybersecurity standards, collaborating with compliance teams to prepare for internal and external audits.
• Incident Response & Security Awareness: Participate in incident response efforts as required and provide technical guidance on security best practices and awareness initiatives.

Position Qualifications

• Education & Experience (Minimum Required) Experience: 4+ years of dedicated cybersecurity experience (or equivalent technical field).
• Clearance: Active Secret security clearance.
• Certifications: Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE required on day one). CompTIA CySA+ (must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Technical Tools: Applied experience with automated scanning and security compliance tools including ACAS, CIS Benchmarks, SCAP, and Retina.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) package development from end to end.
