Job Description:

Senior Software Developer

Are you a highly motivated and talented Software Developer looking to join a team with a long history of providing best-in-class service and support? We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to analyze user needs and deliver robust software solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Apply principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to analyze user needs and develop comprehensive software solutions.
• Update existing software and enhance capabilities to meet evolving requirements.
• Collaborate with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and define performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within application areas, either independently or as part of a collaborative team overseeing database development.

Required Certifications, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Active NAVSEA Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Level I certification is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering, or a related Technical Discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and sustaining subsystem and software components.
• At least six (6) years of experience working with:
  • Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML)
  • Extensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Developing database queries
  • Transforming unstructured data into standards-based structured data formats.
• At least three (3) years of experience developing solutions distributed to USN ashore and afloat users through DoD infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel as required.
