Job Description:

IT Implementation Engineer

8+ Month Contract (9/4/2025 – 6/3/2026)
Remote

Role Summary

As an IT Implementation Engineer, you will coordinate the provisioning of voice services, including telephony and fax lines, for company locations. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure the smooth installation and disconnection of services. This role is similar to a project manager but does not require PMP certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Order and implement technologies such as VOIP, call routing, and cabling services.

• Manage multiple installation projects and consult with location resources to define needs.

• Order and facilitate the installation of POTS lines for alarm services.

• Analyze locations for new or existing services and place orders through vendor portals.

• Work with vendors to establish requirements and ensure the completion of standardized tasks.

• Test installations, identify shortfalls, and manage follow-up issues to completion.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in defined enterprise tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SharePoint).

• Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, and security teams, as well as third-party contractors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in voice telecommunications is required.

• Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Knowledge of project/task management systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with basic networking hardware.
