About the Opportunity

We are a rapidly growing, publicly traded financial services and asset management organization driven by a mission to unlock lasting market value. As we scale our operations, we are looking for a high-caliber Lead Network Engineer to join us on the ground floor of this expansion.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role reporting directly to our Head of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure. You will have a direct hand in shaping, scaling, and securing our enterprise-wide environment during a pivotal period of organizational growth. Key Responsibilities

• Hybrid Network Engineering & Architecture

  • Design, implement, and support our expanding enterprise network infrastructure across a hybrid environment (on-premises and Microsoft Azure).

  • Maintain and optimize core network services including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and IP management.

  • Proactively monitor performance and define metrics to ensure high availability and resilience for critical corporate systems.

• Next-Gen Firewall & Network Security Management

  • Administer and optimize enterprise Palo Alto Networks firewalls (including security policies, App-ID, and URL filtering).

  • Manage the centralized firewall operations lifecycle, implementing strict segmentation, egress filtering, and threat prevention strategies.

  • Troubleshoot complex firewall-related access issues and fine-tune policies based on application or user behavior.

• Azure Cloud Networking & Connectivity

  • Design and manage Azure networking components (VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, and private endpoints).

  • Ensure secure, high-speed connectivity between on-premises environments, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS platforms.

  • Partner directly with data and software engineering teams to architect network requirements for cloud-native applications.

• Security, Risk, & Compliance Alignment

  • Align network and infrastructure configurations with IT SOX controls and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).

  • Enforce least-privilege, network segmentation, and Zero Trust security principles.

  • Develop and maintain audit-ready technical documentation and processes.

• Incident Response & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for any critical network or infrastructure incidents.

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize workflows and increase operational maturity.

What We Are Looking For

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • 10+ years of networking and infrastructure experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or banking operating under SEC/SOX regulations.

• Technical Domain Expertise:

  • Deep, demonstrable knowledge of core network protocols, hybrid routing, and Azure cloud networking components.

  • Hands-on mastery of enterprise firewall administration (Palo Alto preferred).

  • Familiarity with enterprise security tools (EDR, SIEM, CASB, DLP).

• Certifications (Preferred): Relevant Microsoft Azure or Palo Alto Networks certifications.
