Position Summary

The HR Reporting & Analytics team is seeking an experienced Temporary Workday Reporting & Analytics Specialist to provide hands-on support for Workday reporting, analytics, dashboard development, and report consolidation initiatives.
This role will serve as a Workday reporting subject matter expert responsible for designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining Workday reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision making across Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across the Workday reporting suite, including Advanced Reports, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, Dashboards, Discovery Boards and Worksheets.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Report Development

Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday reporting solutions.
Build and enhance:

• Advanced Reports
• Matrix Reports
• Composite Reports
• Trending Reports
• Custom Reports
• Create calculated fields and complex reporting logic to meet business requirements.
  Optimize report performance and usability.

Dashboards, Discovery Boards & Worksheets

• Design and build Workday Dashboards and Discovery Boards that provide actionable insights for HR leaders and business partners.
• Develop Worksheets that enable users to perform self-service analysis and drill into workforce trends.
• Create intuitive visualizations and scorecards that improve business adoption.
• Support migration of legacy reports to modern dashboard and analytics experiences.

Reporting Consolidation

• Assess existing reports, dashboards, and analytics assets for relevance, usage, duplication, and business value.
• Consolidate reports into standardized enterprise solutions.
• Establish naming standards and reporting best practices.
• Support creation of “golden reports” and source-of-truth reporting assets.

Governance & Security

• Review report ownership, audiences, and security configurations.
• Validate report distribution lists and scheduled report deliveries.
• Ensure reporting solutions comply with data governance and security standards.
• Document reporting specifications and governance decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday reporting experience.
• Advanced expertise building Workday:
• Advanced Reports
  Matrix Reports
  Composite Reports
  Trending Reports
  Calculated Fields
• Experience creating and maintaining Workday Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets.
• Strong understanding of Workday security and data access models.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Strong organizing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of HR end to end processes like Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, and Workforce Planning data
• Experience supporting report consolidation or reporting governance initiatives
• Exposure to Power BI, data visualization
• Experience developing reporting standards, naming conventions, and reporting repositories.

Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured by:

• Creation of scalable, high-quality reporting and analytics reports, dashboards.
• Reduction in duplicate and underutilized reports
• Improved governance, documentation, and reporting consistency.
• Faster delivery of reporting needs

A Workday reporting expert who can quickly assess a complex reporting environment, analyze calc fields built, build modern reporting solutions, create engaging dashboards and Discovery Boards, and help transform HR reporting from a collection of individual reports into a governed, self-service analytics experience.
