Onsite in Nashville, TN with travel to Hopkinsville, KY
Pay Range: $75 to $85 per hour

Techead is partnering with our manufacturing client in Nashville to help them hire a senior-level IT Change Management Lead to support a strategic manufacturing footprint transformation, including the startup of a new greenfield facility and the decommissioning of a legacy plant. This role will drive end-to-end IT change coordination across business, IT, operations, and engineering, ensuring seamless system integrations, validated processes, and successful user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program & Change Leadership: Define and execute the IT change management strategy for site startup and legacy site closure. Serve as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams to align system readiness, dependencies, and cutover plans.

  • Systems Implementation & Integration: Coordinate the deployment of enterprise and shop-floor systems (MES, ERP, WMS, core infrastructure) while overseeing data migration and cutover execution.

  • Validation & Testing: Lead oversight and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) along with Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

  • Training & Adoption: Develop training strategies, SOPs, and job aids to ensure operational readiness and user adoption across all plant personnel.

  • Cutover & Hypercare: Manage go-live cutover execution, establish the post-implementation hypercare support model, and track stabilization metrics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven track record with greenfield plant implementations and/or facility shutdowns.

  • Systems Knowledge: Deep familiarity with core manufacturing environments (ERP, MES, WMS, shop floor tech).

  • Testing & Compliance: Hands-on experience with validation protocols (UAT, IQ/OQ/PQ); regulated industry background (e.g., CPG, pharma, industrial) strongly preferred.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated capability leading cross-functional teams and managing executive stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
